Forum is up and new version coming soon Christoph Spuhler 2005-02-02

It's been some time since the last update. Actually, a lot has changed since then. The structure of the volumevis application has been entirely changed to be very modular. Overall, Volumevis is now much more stable and easier to extend. The new version (with documentation and description) should be up shortly.

Meanwhile, there's now a forum for general and developer questions.

Initial release. Christoph Spuhler 2004-02-01

Know Problems/Limitations

  • Program has only been tested with GeForce 4/FX card.
  • At the moment only loading of greyscale images is possible.
  • Note: This is a work in progress. Many things are not implemented or don't work yet.
  • Note2: Practically no testing has been done on other machines and with graphics cards other than the GeForce 4/FX. Theoretically the program should run on windows, but it hasn't been tried. If you have tried it on other machines, please let me know if it works or not.
